Dane has been playing bass for more years than I like to think about (25+). In that time he's played in original bands, cover bands, rock bands, blues bands, country bands, Irish bands, etc. Most recently, he played with
Radio Mango, a 7-piece band doing original "world music" material (mix of Latin, African, Reggae, Balkan, and whatever else they fancied). They started early in 2005 and had a pretty good 2-year run -- recorded an EP, and played a lot of good venues around Chicago (House of Blues, Wise Fools, Cubby Bear, The Note, Kazbar, Elbo Room, etc.). Dane replaces a long list of previous bass players who are generally allowed visitors once a month.
